I don’t have access to the music I used to have. I just want to regain access to the music I had before. I hadn’t paid the subscription because I didn’t have the money, and I understand that it’s not fair, since I’m paying for the subscription again and I only have my favorites. Is there any way to recover all the music I had, including the playlists?

Resubscribing gives you immediate access to all of the music in the Apple Music streaming service, but only on a streaming basis. It does not recover playlists or offline listening copies.
If you want offline listening copies and playlists back, you will probably need to download them all over again, and create them all over again.

You have to redownload them and create your Playlists again. Those are not purchased, so they go away when the subscription to play them has been cancelled.
