MacBook apps keep getting rapidly deselected

My MacBook keeps deselecting my app (the app loses the focus, the top bar turns into the color of a background app). When I restart it the problem get temporarily fixed but it comes back every 1-2 days. This has become increasingly annoying to deal with. Even with every app closed except google chrome, the problem still persists. I have seen many people online with the same problem, but I can't find a way to permanently solve this problem, they only say to restart. I have also not downloaded anything sketchy on this MacBook that would cause this problem. The top bar on the screen still says chrome is the app when it gets deselected, however I have no other instances running that could have been selected. The rapid deselection also happened if I'm not touching the laptop or mouse. All relevant software plus macOS is up to date.

Apps Having Issues:

A. Boot in Safe Mode:

Go Here: Start Up your Mac in Safe Mode - Apple Support

B. Reinstall the Apps:

Have you tried removing, and then installing the apps? Restart after the uninstall. Then, restart after the install.

No Success?…

C. A Reinstall May Work:

Back Up, then Reinstall the macOS:

Nothing would be deleted. It's just that items that have become corrupted or deleted, would be replaced or reinstalled back to where they should be, respectively. Go Here: How to Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support

Important:

Create a Time Machine Backup, First:

Prior to the re-installation of your macOS, be certain to backup your Mac using a Time Machine Backup. That way, you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall. Use an external hard drive that is at least 1.5 the total storage capacity.

When the App you care about gets de-selected, the default app that is always implied running is likely the Finder. You can also deliberately select the Finder by clicking anywhere outside the main active App window, such as the desktop behind that window.

if your main window gets de-selected, A restart should not be required to fix this. You can deliberately move the mouse pointer back inside the window you want to be active and click inside that window, which will make that window active again, and nothing more.

OR you can type:

Command-Tab

... which will first display a row of icons for each running App, and on further presses will move to the next App to the Right on that list, end-around. I believe that list disappears when you release the command key, leaving the selected App frontmost and active
