How do I add a new contact to iPhone XR Password Manager without 'Passwords & Accounts' or 'Accounts & Passwords'?

Let's give some positive advice instead of questions. We already worked out you have iphone XR with a recent iOS (settings , passwords & accounts went years ago!)

So passwords..

You don't add contacts to passwords app, you add passwords to it.

You add contacts to contacts app.

You need to explain what you are trying to do

On an iPhone XR, Apple changed the wording over time — so you won’t see “Passwords & Accounts” anymore. It’s just called Passwords now.

Two Questions

1. What is the model of your iPhone and which iOS version is installed on it?
2. Are you attempting to add a contact to your iPhone or are you attempting to add a password?

Perhaps try Passwords. (App) When it opens, see

if you can enter first category, ALL. Then use the

'Plus' (a small icon, on my XR iPhone) ~ as that

should open further, to allow a choice.

This process should allow you to continue to add

more Passwords to items in your XR. Other steps

may be required; while I'm new to this. I'd had to

add household utility accounts, manually before.

And there may be other steps; been a few weeks

since my first foray into using Passwords in XR.

So this should allow you to get a few steps ahead.

To find Tips in the far left-side screen and look in

there for other access ideas, helped to find more.

You may get better and prompt responses if you may kindly provide the iPhone Model that you have and the iOS version if it is known to you and re-post.

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.

The process used by me to access my iPhone XR

was very intuitive ~ I don't overly diagnose issues

and essentially did the steps correctly you found.

After iOS 18.7 upgrade, system reflects new names.

I did use Tips & already had 'iOS User Guide' T.O.C.
