How to fix swollen battery and screen after iPadOS 26.3 update on iPad?

3 days back I updated to ios 26.3 and after that my I pad turning switch off after opening the lock , so many times , and today I noticed swollen battery but I never charged it after updated to ios 26.3 , it's now working but swollen battery scares me , please help to how to get rid of it .

If the battery has swollen, you should shut-down and stop using the iPad. After shut-down, set the iPad aside someplace cool and dry - well away from any flammable materials or surfaces. Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to charge the iPad.

Alternatively, you should visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will provide assistance:
