Compressor: Missing DNxHD/HR, XAVC Intra Class 300 options

Apple Pro Video Formats says it supports Avid DNxHD/HR and XAVC Intra. 2 questions....

  1. In the dropdown codec list in Compressor 5.0 with Pro Video Formats v3.1 installed I don't get the option to choose Avid DNxHD or DNxHR, is this correct?
  2. Is XAVC Intra Class 300 available? Media Encoder allows it but not Compressor? I need to export to EVS with Class 300 using Constant Bit Rate (not variable bit rate).

Interested to know if anyone has had any success with these two questions?

Thanks

macOS only support decoding and playback of DNXHD/HR, not encoding. I'd suggest downloading ffMpeg to encode to an Avid format.

Apple Compressor does not support encoding or exporting to Sony's XAVC Intra Class 300, which is based on H.264/AVC Intra. Again ffMpeg supports this. It's freeware, been around for ages, is the typical workaround for macOS users needing unsupported codec encoding.
