  • Do you have a gmail (or Google) account?
  • Do you have a Facebook, WhatsApp (or other Meta) account?
  • Is your Apple Account password the same as another password you have for a different service?
  • Anyone that knows your Passcode has access to your data
  • Have you been the victim of a phishing message or someone else knows your Apple Account password.

Recognize phishing

  • You can go to Settings > Privacy & Security and tap each one to see which apps have access to that data.
  • You can run Safety Check to see if you are sharing your data with anyone.

Safety Check

  • Are you using a VPN? Despite their marketing tactic of saying they are securing your device, they actually send your internet traffic to their servers where many of them have been breached, and they are also known to sell your data found in that traffic to advertisers.

It may be better to approach this from what you are seeing where someone has access to your data. As you can see the possibilities are endless.
