iForgot is asking for the passcodes to old devices I no longer own

iForgot is asking for the passcodes to old devices I no longer own to reset my password instead of prompting me on the trusted device from which I am submitting the request. The old devices are NOT listed as trusted and NOT listed on the Find My device screen. How do I remove these old devices from the list so that iCloud stops prompting for passcodes from non-trusted, old devices?

Stopping Getting Password Prompts:

A. Change your Apple Account Credentials:

Someone is trying to log into your account on these devices (either because they were stollen, or you did not rid of these properly). So, start with changing your Apple Account info, starting with a new password. A step up from that would be to assign a new email address for your Apple Account.

B. Remove these from your Account:

The device(s) is still associated to your Apple Account. Go here to see if you can remove it: View and Remove your Devices that are Associated with your Apple Account for Purchases - Apple Support

C. Properly Ridding of These:

When you rid of a device, then you need to perform as instructed here, including the backup, and iCloud logout:

Secure your Account:

Someone knows your email address and password(likely because of these devices, or a data leak). Being hacking has occurred, I would most-certainly consider performing the following. After doing so, you would no longer get this.

Two ways to access your Apple Account, to change

what may be presented there, & remove or add, etc.

Several paths to choose within this page, re: if you've lost

a device, couldn't log-out from a damaged iPhone, & etc..

.Among other possibilities, this has worked well for me.

Thanks for the reply. I changed my password as recently as last week after a full factory reset on my current device. 2 of the old devices that are listed on the iForgot screen were factory reset 4 years ago after my account got hacked and are currently offline in a box. The remaining devices on the iForgot screen show old names of my current device, e.g. MyName’s iPad and an old names for the device from well over a year ago. The devices current name is not listed as all.

For clarification, the old devices for which iForgot is prompting are NOT listed on the device page. My account shows one device, the one I’m logged into. The old devices aren’t on the account page and aren’t listed on the find my device page. I don’t know where iForgot is pulling the device names from so that I can delete them and why is my current device listed twice with different names? I only have one full-size iPad, the old devices that aren’t duplicates of my current device were iPad mini’s
