Unable to get in app purchases with gift card

I can buy stuff on the App Store but can’t buy in app purchases.

i brought geometry dash but when i went on Honkai star rail to get an in app purchase it says purchase fail. (Close to that)

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 26

In-app purchases won't work When trying to make in-game purchases in any app, a window pops up telling me to contact support because something went wrong. I'm trying to pay through a gift card and can buy apps. Please help

I am unable to make in-app purchases with apple gift cards I have a cc on file and $80 in gift cards that show th balance in my account but I am unable to use it. When I attempt to make a purchase I get a response that the purchase could not be completed. It has happened for the last month and I have contacted apple support each time. They have me do several things and then they tell me they will escalate it and wait 48 hours and try again. That usually works however it continues to happen each time the same thing happens. it would seem a software company could fix this problem but instead it keeps happening and I have to wait 48 hours each time - this is truly ridiculous - I want it fixed

Did you contact the developer about that? Not all developers accept Apple Gift Cards as a payment for In-App purchases.
