Q: Creating image file

Hi,

Does anyone knows if Mac Operating system has an option to create image file (like ghost in microsof -*.gho). Time machine isn't an option because it backup files and didn't crate one file.

Use the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder.

not very help for me,

Indeed,it create me a *.dmg file but i can't repair files that are currently being used by operating system
