Apple Developer enrollment status not updating on web

Hi everyone, I created an Apple Developer account today and enrolled through the Apple Developer app on my phone, but the enrollment screen is still visible on the web. Do I just need to wait?

Hey Limnos, I spoke with support by phone and they reactivated the "Enroll Today" option. I then enrolled through the Apple Developer iPhone app, but when I went to the web, the "Enroll Today" option was still active. When I clicked on it, I encountered this error.

Apple has an organizational division between the consumer website and services, and the Apple third-party developer program website and services.

You are on the consumer side of that division here. There are some developers participating here (but fewer), and there are fewer (no) folks from the Apple Developer Program here. And sign-on glitches and enrollment glitches and Developer app glitches have varied over time, and glitches will usually involve either or both Developer Support and Apple App Store Support.

The Developer Program has a forum for the discussions about the Developer Program itself, here: https://developer.apple.com/forums/topics/developer-tools-and-services/apple-developer-program

It used to be that an email-format Apple Account was required (not a telephone-format account), and a major payment card was required (no gift cards), and the enrollment in a country or region where Apple was active, and in more recent times I would not want any add-in VPN apps even installed when enrolling.

But do continue your discussion with Apple Developer Support (not Apple Support), too.

Again, this is the consumer to consumer support site. There are a few people with experience on the developer side of things and maybe one of them will eventually happen by and be familiar with developer things. Alternatively, explore the developer web page I provided for ways to contact Apple itself. I have seen various manifestations of that "at this time" type of message and it is not exactly informative. Typically it means there is invalid or missing information and once you correct that, then "it is time". If it isn't that obvious then I suggest you contact Apple and ask them when it will be time.
