Problems since updating to Tahoe 26.3

This is a Known Issue Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees who deal will these types of issues .

Having spoken to HP they recommended I speak with Apple. I may need to remove printer and add it again-something to do with the driver (?).

Finally, Spotlight does not work with my external hard drive-whereas it *was* working just fine until recently. Coincidence?

The whole thing is ridiculous. I can't stand updates. There are always issues post updates!

On 1 M4 Mac Mini, 1 M4 15" MBA and 1 M2 Mac Mini have all upGraded from Tahoe 26.0 through to and including Tahoe 26.3 have has zero issues

Yes, there are the Rounded Corners everywhere , Liquid Glass Effect, and the the now defunct Launchpad which has been Integrating into the functionalities of Spotlight

But apart from that

The only real issues experienced is which machine to use at any given time

All this going around still does not get to the Core Issues you have outlined earlier HP printer and Spotlight related to external drive

I would encourage you to carefully explore the printer options, which can sometimes be abstruse or obscure because of nested option windows and arrangement of the options by some printer manufacturers that are not very user friendly. I have several older printers (one from 2015 [Epson], one from 2011 [Canon]) as well as a new Epson 2026 unit, and in some instances the double sided option requires some digging and persistence to find, sometimes it is called "two-sided" or "double-sided," or "duplex" and sometimes it is buried inside "Printer Options" or sometimes it appears right up front. This has to do with the way that each printer interfaces with the OS. I wish they were more consistent. Also, under Tahoe many printers now DEFAULT to two-sided printing whereas they did not do that earlier. All the printers at work default to two-sided. Maybe due to modern concerns about the environment and minimizing use of paper, I can only guess. I like saving paper but I can't submit certain forms with print on both sides of the paper, and two-sided often does not work so well with colorful images or graphics!
