Recents Limit. What does it represent?
I am still learning Mac features. In System Settings what does the 15 represent in "Recent documents, applications, and servers".? See picture.

In most apps you can do File > Open Recent to pick from a list of files that you "recently" used. It makes it easier for you to repeatedly access files you often use. Ditto in lists of applications, servers, etc. The number next to "Recent documents, applications and servers" is the maximum number of "recent items" that will be displayed in those dialogs.
