Wallpaper gone black after iOS 26.3 update

Try using the iOS default wallpapers. This will indicate that the issue is not the iOS itself but the wallpaper image.

If the image is:

• very high resolution
• live / depth-effect heavy
• downloaded from a third-party app

iOS may fail to re-render it and quietly falls back to black.

Settings still show the image because it is set — it just didn’t load.
