Find My stopped working

Your location not showing in Find My usually means the phone can’t provide or send its GPS data.

Key settings to double check and re‑enable location sharing;

• Open Settings ➡️ Privacy & Security ➡️ Location Services ➡️ Ensure that this is set to ON
• Open Settings ➡️ Privacy & Security ➡️ Location Services ➡️ Find My ➡️ While Using the App + Precise Location is set to ON
• Open Settings ➡️ Apple ID ➡️ Find My ➡️ Find My iPhone ➡️ Ensure that this is set to ON
• Open Settings ➡️ Apple ID ➡️ Find My ➡️ Share My Location ➡️ Ensure that his is set to ON

Network and system checks for you to make sure as follows:

• Make sure Wi‑Fi or cellular data is active; Find My cannot update location offline.
• Turn Airplane Mode OFF.
• Restart the iPhone.
• Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Date & Time ➡️ Ensure that Set Automatically is set to ON (incorrect time breaks Find My).

Thank you! Fixed my wife showing up as Location not Found! Been through a bunch of checklists and none of them mentioned

Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Location Services, System Services -> Share My was turned off. Turned it on and she started showing up for the entire family!

Go to settings, privacy and security, location services, down to system services, make sure find my AND share my are turned on, fixed our two. Good luck.

By chance, do you have a VPN installed on your iPhone, whether it is used or not?
