new phone set up from Android to IOS. During the set up, it cancelled but didn’t transfer any apps to the iphone. Do I reset the phone and erase? If so, will it allow me to set my phone up again without losing everything?

Erase the iPhone and run Move to iOS again from the setup screen. You must wipe the iPhone first, because Move to iOS only works during initial setup.
Nothing on the Android phone is erased, so you won’t lose any data.

Not all apps will transfer:
Here's what gets transferred: contacts, message history, SMS messages, camera photos and videos, photo albums, files and folders, accessibility settings, display settings, web bookmarks, mail accounts, WhatsApp messages and media, Voice Memos, call history, and calendars. If they're available on both Google Play and the App Store, some of your free apps will also transfer. After the transfer completes, you can download any free apps that were matched from the App Store.
