Note that Macs run macOS. iOS is the name of the iPhone operating system (and is also commonly used as a name for the family of operating systems that includes iOS and iPadOS).
Cricut Help – System Requirements - Design Space indicates that the Mac version of this program requires macOS 12 (Monterey) or later - with a footnote "Based on Apple support". If what they are trying to say is that the program supports only "the most recent three" (the ones which tend to get most security updates), those would currently be macOS 14 (Sonoma), 15 (Sequoia), and 26 (Tahoe). (The numbering jumped from 15 to 26 because Apple changed to a year-based version number scheme similar to the one auto dealers use.)
In order to see the maximum amount that Apple will offer for trade-in, you'll need to enter your Mac's serial number on the Apple trade-in site to which D.I. Johnson provided a link. Based on my experiences with checking the trade-in value of a 27" Late 2009 iMac a few years ago, I suspect the site will tell you that they won't give you any trade-in credit, but will be happy to recycle your Mac for free.
