Does this iPhone work correctly when connected to other Wi-Fi networks?

If there is an add-on VPN app here, remove it temporarily, restart, and try again. Remove the app, as the VPN app disable controls apparently sometimes don’t work.

That ”too long to respond” reeks of a local network or ISP problem, or maybe a problem with an ad-blocking app not reaching its servers.

Does this iPhone work on Wi-Fi, and does it work when connected to cellular in a different location?

Disable any browser ad-blocking apps and test again, and also try connecting with Safari (with nomad-blocking).

Also test connecting with https://apple.com or https://one.one.one.one/ (Cloudflare) and not with (unfortunately sometimes wobbly) Apple Support Communities.

Check with your carrier then, too.

And again, try connecting somewhere else, as this might be a problem with the cellular tower or the tower coverage.

If no better, check you have no VPN installed

Ask the carrier to re-provision your SIM or eSIM card.

You’re welcome. Over The Air re-provisioning is not always successful and a trip to your cellular service providers store may be necessary.
