Books app purchase stuck loading

Every time I try to buy a book in the books app, when I press the purchase button it looks like the request is being processed ( via the loading icon on the purchase button ) but the purchase never happens and it keeps on loading.

Hilton website payment stuck on spinning wheel on iPad Hi Guys, I have a strange problem that has just started for no apparent reason. I regularly book hotel rooms using the Hilton site (not the app) A couple of days ago, I reserved a room and entered my usual payment details. The only response I got was a spinning wheel. I tried the following day and got the same response. Same thing happened when I tried using my iPad. I cleared the cookies, cache etc on both devices but still no luck. Even tried using different credit cards. Same thing happens when using a different browser. I was able to book using the Hilton app over the same internet connection. My daughter was able to book logging into my account on her MacBook at her house and using my card. I have reset my router but still the problem exists. I had this exact same problem with my IPhone. It did get resolved immediately after I updated my phone’s software! I’m sure this will solve your issue too!
