The workout app interjects voice prompts because turning off voice feedback does not disable “workout buddy”. How can I terminate Buddy? ***

On Apple Watch, open the Workout app, choose a workout, tap the Settings icon (three dots) > Workout Buddy > Toggle off. Note that this must be done (as far as I know) separately for each type of workout, I can't find one setting that turns it off for all workouts.
During a Workout: Swipe right, then tap Mute to stop audio feedback.
