Is there a way to ask Apple to carry specific books in their store? I'm finding quite often that Apple Books just doesn't carry some of the books I'm interested in, many of which are not that old. Does Apple have some form or way of submitting books they may be missing in their store?
It's not really up to Apple.
Authors and right holders are the ones that decide to make their books available in Apple's Books store or not.
Apple cannot unilaterally make them available as they don't own them.

I've personally tried to email a publisher to put one of their books up digitally on Apple Books but never got a response.
