Unrecognized Apple charges, no purchase history

Hello,

I am seeing multiple charges on my bank card from APPLE.COM/BILL CORK IRL on March 3, 2026.

I did not make these purchases and I do not recognize them.

The charges are currently pending (E-POS Purchase / Not posted).

There are no active subscriptions on my Apple ID, and no purchase history appears on reportaproblem.apple.com.

Please investigate these transactions and help me cancel them and process a refund.

I am also concerned that my Apple ID or payment information may have been compromised.

Thank you.

Yes, I have contacted my bank and informed them that these charges are unauthorized.

No one here on this user to user only forum, which Apple doesn't participate can investigate anything for you. See this if you were charged, but didn't buy --> https://support.apple.com/en-us/102396

You will need to investigate these charges yourself, or with the help of Apple Support.

The text on the billing line ("APPLE.COM/BILL CORK IRL") doesn't automatically raise red flags. I get similar charges on my credit card from "APPLE.COM/BILL CUPERTINO CA"). Here, "APPLE.COM" is the vendor, "BILL" just appears to indicate that this is a "BILL" of some sort, and the rest is the location of a worldwide or regional headquarters.

However, since crooks might be able to put text like that onto bogus charges, it does not prove that the charges are from Apple, either.

What I've seen with bills from Apple is that

  • They like to bill each subscription separately. (I don't have Apple One, so I get separate bills for iCloud+, and for Apple Music.)
  • With purchases from the App Store and the iTunes Store, they may bundle the charges from several purchases which you made separately (but close together) into a single charge to your payment method. My guess is that they do this to reduce the amount they must pay to the card networks for transaction fees.

If, after taking this into account, and checking with Apple, there is no good accounting for the charges, you'll need to contact your bank. If criminals have fraudulently charged your card, it's your bank who would have the power to reverse the charges; and they probably also would want to close your current account and reissue your card under a new number to frustrate future attempts at fraud.
