HomeKit access fails after changing Apple Account password

I had to change my Apple ID password when in my one home and now I cannot activate my homekit devices in my second home. Apple TV is the hub in both homes.

Hi Friends, This is a hard pill to swallow being a diehard Apple user. In my situation above, there is no solution. Just got off the phone with an Apple Senior Tech and I was informed that there is no way to activate my HomeKit in my other home without an Apple device in that home. Other than my two AppleTVs, there is no iPad, iPhone, nor Mac in the home. As I have HomeKit cameras and lights connected for security purposes, they no longer work. In my opinion this is a major failing of the HomeKit system. BTW, the Senior Apple tech validated that there are many others who have reported the same problem. It is possible, it was suggested, that Apple may update HomeKit in the future. That would be nice; but for now, my home is, literally, in the dark. :-(
