How to reduce and understand System Data storage on iPhone

My phone has 69 GB of system data. How can i reduce this and what does system data storage includes?

There's no way to see exactly what's stored in System Data, but is Cache and temporary files your device needs to operate. That said, sometimes System Data accumulates some corrupt data and 69GB is too high.


The easiest way to bring System Data back to normal levels is to use your computer to backup your iPhone, then using your computer, restore the phone from the backup you made on your computer.
