Sorry I don't know of a fail-safe answer to your question.

Seems you would need some sort of proof of eligibility.


We are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community, so we can not speak for Apple. The way I understand it, different countries, (and even different Apple stores within a country) may have different eligibility & proof of eligibility requirements. Purchases need to be made in the student's country.
