Today I removed the circle view doorbell from home and unplugged it, shut down all computers, phones, and tablets, unplugged all Apple TVs and HomePods, restarted the eero mesh Wi-Fi and set it to 2.4 GHz only (this is a troubleshooting feature that lasts 30 minutes), did a factory reset of the Circle view doorbell connected to USB 5 V 3 A, added it to the home app, and reserved its internal IP address in eero.
The circle of view doorbell thumbnail in the home app, on my iPhone 15 Pro MAX, takes a picture every 10 seconds. When tapped, the resulting screen times out with an error message "no response. This camera is not responding”. If I push the doorbell, it chimes on all of my HomePods, phones, iPad and computer. If I tap on the resulting notification in my iPhone, I see a still image of the circle view doorbell until it times out with the same error message.
The tapped circle view doorbell thumbnail on my Apple computer will produce a live image. The tapped notification of the doorbell produces a live image, but the audio can only be heard at the doorbell, there is no audio on my computer. The same thing happens on my wife's iPhone 15.
I connected my iPhone and Apple TV to a different server on its 2.4 GHz band. I then did a factory reset of the circle view doorbell and using my iPhone, connected it to the 2.4 GHz band. The same problem persists, "no response. This camera is not responding”. I conclude that this is not a problem of the Apple TV changing bands and causing a connection issue with the circle view doorbell.
