Can i delete app from my iPhone using apple id online?

"Can i delete app from my iPhone using apple id online?"

Background story : I have downloaded "Letsview" app in my iPhone 11 and I clicked "Zoom" option in that app which screen mirroring. Now my iPhone is locked as even the Home Screen is zoomed in too much where it's not possible to move the screen even to type my password. I have my Apple ID, and iCloud ID where I can login online. I just wanted to remove that particular app "Letsview" for my phone to work normally.

  • I am unable to login
  • I am unable to restart
  • I am unable to find the apps online which I installed in my iPhone using my appleid

Kindly help me if there is any option.

You can’t remove a specific app from your iPhone through your Apple ID or iCloud online. Apple doesn’t give a way to uninstall apps remotely like that.

What you can try is doing a forced restart as if the zoom feature got stuck, a restart should fix it. If it’s still zoomed in after reboot, try double-tapping the screen with three fingers to zoom back out. If that doesn’t work you may need to restore the phone through a computer using Finder or iTunes.

Read this support article to learn how to restart your iPhone --> https://support.apple.com/HT201559

If that does not work:

Click on this link to learn how to force restart iPhone --> https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/force-restart-iphone-iph8903c3ee6/ios - select the correct iOS version

After that you should be able to delete the app normally. Refer to this support article to learn how to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. --> https://support.apple.com/HT207618

How to delete an app

1. Touch and hold the app.

2. Tap Remove App.

3. Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.

Keep in mind that some built-in Apple apps can't be deleted from your device, so you might not see the option to delete an app. See this support article for a list of built-in Apple apps you can delete from your device: https://support.apple.com/HT211833 If you can't delete an app that's not made by Apple, disable parental controls as outlined in this article: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT201304#prevent-purchases, then try deleting the app again.

If you touch and hold an app from the Home Screen and the apps start to jiggle:

1. Tap the Remove icon in the upper-left corner of the app.

2. Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.

3. Tap Done.
