If you forgot your passcode, the only option open to you is to erase the device and restore iOS. If you have a backup, you can restore the backup. You can re-sync any data that was synced to iCloud by signing back into your Apple account.


Anything that was not synced to the cloud, backed up, or stored elsewhere will be lost. Apple can't help you. The data on the device is encrypted and the only party with the key to decrypt it is you. Without the passcode, the data on the device is unrecoverable.
