Find my IPhone via my IPAD
I can’t locate my lost IPhone through my IPad because it’s not listed under Devices, though I often get texts on my IPhone when I’ve left my IPad behind. How do I find my IPhone via my IPad?

Each device must be enabled separately to be located.
Did you enable "Find My iPhone" on your phone before looking for it on your iPad?
On your iPhone: Settings > Apple Account > Find My > Find My iPhone [assuming the iPhone is also on iOS 26]
