Moving iPhone to new Apple ID with data

Hi, I have two Iphones sharing the same AppleID. I am trying to create a new apple ID, move one of the devices to that apple ID (along with all the data stored on that device), and then add that second apple ID to my family plan. How would I go about doing this, and what data do I need to back up?
