Please be more specific. Are you talking about Activation Lock (anti-theft lock), carrier lock, a SIM PIN code, or a PUK code?

If your phone is carrier-locked, only the carrier to whom it is locked can remove the lock. Often a carrier won't do so unless you are their customer, and any contract on the phone is fully paid off.

If your SIM is locked with a SIM code or PUK code, and you have forgotten the code, contact your carrier for help. Guessing the wrong code may cause the SIM to become invalid, in which case you would also need to contact the carrier to request a replacement SIM.

If it's carrier locked, only the carrier it is locked to can unlock it for use on other networks.
