Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID not connecting after updating to macOS Tahoe 26.3

just updated my MacBook Pro 14” to macOS Tahoe 26.3, and since the update my Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is no longer connecting.

Here is what is happening:

• The keyboard does not connect via Bluetooth

• It is not discoverable in Bluetooth settings

• When connected with the Lightning cable, it still does not appear or pair

• Touch ID obviously does not work either because the keyboard is not recognized

Things I have already tried:

• Turning Bluetooth off and on

• Restarting the Mac

• Connecting the keyboard with the Lightning cable

• Turning the keyboard off and back on

The keyboard was working perfectly before the OS update.

Has anyone experienced this after updating to macOS Tahoe 26.3?

Is there a way to reset or force the keyboard to reconnect?

Any guidance would be appreciated

Thanks in advance.
