iPhone 15 Pro: iOS update verification and restore failed

Hello, I am having trouble updating iOS on my iPhone 15 Pro.

When verifying the update, I get the following message: “The update cannot be verified. iOS 26.3.1 is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.”

There is also an error on my Macbook, I couldn't even restore  my iPhone via Mac.

I had the same problem with the iOS 26.3 update, and only uploading the system via 3utools helped, but it resulted in data loss. I don't want to do this every time.

I bought the phone in the US version with a damaged eSIM. Ultimately, it turned out

that everything was working, only a message about a network problem appeared in the settings, but this message disappeared after restarting. I didn't find any errors in the logs. I beg for help in this matter.

When an iPhone repeatedly fails to verify an iOS update — and also fails to restore through a Mac — it usually means the device cannot complete Apple’s verification handshake. This can happen with damaged eSIM hardware, corrupted system partitions, or incomplete update files stuck in storage. Because you already had the same issue with 26.3 and only 3uTools worked, the pattern strongly suggests the iPhone is failing Apple’s official verification path, not the update itself.

You can try the following to address the issue:

● Delete the stuck update file by OPENING Settings ➡️ General ➡️ iPhone Storage ➡️ find the iOS update ➡️ delete update

● Force Restart iPhone exactly as follows:

 • Press and quickly release Volume Up

 • Press and quickly release Volume Down

 • hold the Side Button until the Apple logo appears (may take up to 20 seconds)

● Reset network verification settings by OPENING Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset iPhone ➡️ Reset ➡️ reset Network Settings. You will not lose any data.

● Turn off VPN or security apps by OPENING Settings ➡️ Apps ➡️ the VPN/security app ➡️ disable any network filtering. VPN can block Apple’s verification servers. You can even delete the VPN app if you are not using it.
