Microsoft Excel won't open on MacBook Pro after an update

I also have 365 (auto MS updates are one) on my an M4 Macbook Pro running 26.3.1. No issues.

Are you running any anti-virus apps or VPNs that might be interfering with updates?

The current version of Excel is 16.107. Have you updated to that? It's running fine for me on 26.3.1 (as were all recent versions of Excel).
