I was organising my desktop which is synced to iCloud and accidentally deleted an important project file. the biggest problem is that this happened more than 30 days ago.. is there any hope of recovering it?

With a local Time Machine backup archive and with local files very likely, yes.
With the iCloud Drive file sync service, no. Past 30 days is gone permanently.
