How to switch Apple Music subscription to Individual when it only gives Family options?

I tried out Apple One (which moved me to Family) but decided I didn't need Apple TV, so I'm trying to switch back to just Apple Music (individual) but it only gives me the option for the higher-priced Family and won't let me change it under my subscriptions. I tried this both on my phone and on the desktop/website and both don't let me change it to individual. Do I have to wait to be charged the higher amount before it lets me change it? If I try to change it, it only lets me by changing it to Apple One, and I just want Apple Music individual.

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 26

If you are subscribed to Apple One, then you can't change the individual subscriptions to something else.

You would need to first cancel Apple One entirely, before you can then switch back to just Apple Music.

Apple One comes in Individual, Family and Premiere versions. It should not have moved you to the Family version unless you chose that when subscribing to Apple One.

Both the Individual and Family options of Apple One include the same services. The only difference is iCloud+ is 50GB with the Individual one and 200GB if you choose Family.

If you are already using the Apple One individual option, you only get choices of Family and Premiere.

If you don't want the Apple One bundle, then you need to cancel Apple One, and subscribe to the services you do want.
