umm.. what 'clips application'?
'Clips' isn't a standard application installed with MacOS, so is it some kind of third party software? Where are you getting it from? The App Store? some developer site? Compiling it yourself...?
After a little searching I found that Apple discontinued the Clips app in October 2025 and is no longer available for users to download. You can sill use it for now but Apple will be slowly dropping support for it.
