Alarm “slide to turn off” not working. When my alarm goes off, touching the screen turns the alarm off. No sliding involved even though the slide bar is there. When I grab my phone in the morning to hit snooze, the alarm automatically turns off. Snooze works if I touch in the snooze box only, but if I accidentally touch anywhere else the alarm shuts off. Is there anything I can do to fix this? It started happening about 2 weeks ago.
Rather than waiting for your next scheduled alarm, try a quick test: set an alarm for one minute from now, lock your iPhone, and then tap the screen when it rings. You’ll see that nothing happens with a simple tap—you’ll need to swipe to turn the alarm off.
I just tested it on my iPhone 13 Pro & 17 with iOS 26.3.1
You may have accidentally pressed the side button which is intended to silence and snooze.

I’m also having a very similar issue, although it doesn’t happen all the time. I have an iPhone 13 Pro on iOS version 26.3.1a. Every now and then, when I go to turn off my alarm (while my phone is off) and I accidentally touch the screen (anywhere on the screen) the alarm will automatically turn off. It doesn’t snooze, it turns off. This is annoying because I am not given the option to snooze the alarm.
I have tried to reproduce the issue on my own, but I wasn’t successful. For me, this issue only happens occasionally, but often enough to be frustrating.
