That depends on what your daily tasks are. If you mean checking email, some web browsing, working on some Word documents, a few spreadsheets, sure. If your daily tasks include video editing, complex photo editing, maybe not.
A couple of years ago, I had a MBA with 8 GB. It was fine for what I regularly do. I did make more of a habit of closing out tabs, windows and applications I wasn't using that I do know. Also, I shut it down overnight most nights.

It depends on what you plan to run. Where possible, you may want to check developer websites to see what minimum and recommended system requirements are.
8 GB of RAM is fine for daily mid-duty usage.
That being said, both of my MacBooks (M1 & M2) have 8 GB of RAM and I have never felt the need for anything more nor felt "limited" in the least bit by this so-called "limitation".
It all depends on your intended usage.
