What happened to this large widget clock face using Tahoe 26.3.1?

iOS 26.3.1 / iPhone15 Pro Max / Clock Widget: Where is this large clock face widget in Tahoe 26.3.1 NOW? Did Apple trash this clock face? It's the only decent clock face widget IMO.

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 26

For a week i did that and there was no clock in the widget list. Today i called Apple Support, she looked at the list and saw no clock widget. She said it must have been trashed by Apple (actually me). Tonite i went to Apple Store and down loaded the Apple clock app. Ugly clock face, but i wanted a clock on the Home Screen.

I think the process is I must have the Clock App installed from the App Store FIRST. Following, I click any empty space on Home Screen. Then Edit. Then the clock appears in the widget list. Then scroll right to select the face.

I see it on the Mac App Store (US), but it's not compatible with Mac, only with iDevices:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/clock/id1584215688

Had to get there via a Google search, though.

But all of this discussion is about trees and the forest has been missed. The OP states:

iOS 26.3.1 / iPhone15 Pro Max / Clock Widget

The reference to Tahoe 26.3.1 is a red herring. There's a Files app in the screenshot below the clock widget in the OP's post, macOS does not have a Files app. The question is about iOS on an iPhone, but the OP blackxacto mistakenly referred to iOS as 'Tahoe' and erroneously posted in the macOS forum, leading to substantial confusion.

Good work 👍

Personally, I prefer Pickled Herring

The Clock app has been included as a component of macOS since at least macOS 13 Ventura. It should not require a separate download. It is certainly included in macOS 26 Tahoe.

Ref this link about macOS Tahoe: Apps included on your Mac - Apple Support

As for accidentally deleting the app, that cannot be done because it is a macOS component. One cannot delete macOS system installed applications.

Cant explain why you cant find it in app store

Nor does this Application appear in the Apple Apps Store on any of the 3 machines that ran Tahoe 26.0 through to version 26.3.1

There is an Application in the Apple Apps Store by this name for iOS devices

This are times, when Apple makes available, this application available on the Apple Apps Store for the user to re-download it again after it was deleted

But in macOS Tahoe , the Clock Application is built into the Operating System as evidenced by below

Any application denoted as " System " can neither be removed, altered, modified or deleted

Perhaps if you go System Setting >> Storage >> Applications and open it

What does your Clock application show
