50/50 Chance Of Magic Mouse Gestures Registering On iPad - PLEASE HELP ASAP

When Using my Magic Mouse 2 with my iPad, there is a 50/50 chance the iPad will pick up the gestures (such as scrolling left and right). The Mouse is connecting and letting me move the cursor and click normally, but the gestures only work half the time.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!
