I have a roku device with a paid subscription to Apple TV. I also have a LG smart TV with the Apple TV app on which I want to watch the paid content. I have an expired AppleTV subscription on the smart TV that automatically comes up even after deleting and re-installing the app. When I login to the smart TV it insists I renew my subscription when I try to watch paid content. Can someone tell me how to use my roku apple subscription to watch pay for content on my smart tv?

All Apple TV subscriptions (and optional movie/TV show purchases) are on your Apple Account (with a possible exception of Fire TV direct subscribers through the Fire TV Store). This subscription can then be applied to any of your supported devices, including smart TVs and TV-connected streaming devices. Just sign in with the correct Apple Account.

Note that Apple considers different accounts as separate users.

You may add new user account(s) [profiles], and remove different previous user accounts [profiles] from the app if needed, or reset the app to remove any customization including user accounts from the app, to start over with a clean slate. If applicable, the app also supports switching between accounts, while preserving all existing accounts.
