Trade In - Cracked or Repair First

If your iPhone 15 Pro Max has a crack and you still have active AppleCare+, you have two options:

1) You can trade it in as‑is, then Apple will reduce the trade‑in value significantly for any crack and even a tiny one.

OR

2) You can get it repaired under AppleCare+ first and this is usually the best move because, With AppleCare+:

• Screen damage repair costs $29

• Back glass damage costs $29

After repair, Apple should be able to give you the full trade‑in value (If all else is in excellent shape) because the device is no longer considered damaged.

Bottom line based on your post, I recommend that you look into repairing the iPhone With AppleCare+ since the cost will be relatively cheap, fast, and will restore your full trade‑in value.
