Just missed the AppleCare+ eligibility period – looking for advice

I purchased my device from Apple on December 29, and unfortunately I missed the 60-day window to add AppleCare+ by just a few days. I recently contacted Apple Support to see if there was any way to still add AppleCare+, but they told me they could not help because the deadline had passed. My device is still in perfect condition, and I would be completely willing to run any diagnostic tests or inspections if needed. I really want to add AppleCare+ for peace of mind.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation and found a way to add AppleCare+ after the 60-day window? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, there were very few limitations on the powers of an Apple retail store manager. However, one thing I could not do was extend the opportunity to purchase Apple Care. But, there may be a workaround.

If an item is purchased that qualifies for Apple Care, such as AirPods Pro or an Apple TV. Then purchase Apple Care One and add the iPhone to the plan. Now both items can be covered. Apple Care One may not be available in all countries and regions.
