Studio Display XDR crashes and reboots while watching YouTube in full screen on M2 Pro Mac mini

I just purchased a Studio Display XDR and testing it for fill days since 03/11. My system is a M2 Pro Mac mini pairs with the new display. While watching a YouTube with full screen via Safari, the display kept crashing and rebooting, including my Mac mini in few minutes . If I watched it with reduced window, not in full screen mode, the crashing was less offend. Is there anyone experiencing with this issue? I suspect it may relate to an internal thermal problem of the display. It has not ever happened with my older monitor.

Just got off support chat. They recommended turning off Adaptive refresh rate. Settings > Displays > Refresh rate and fixing it to 120Hz or 60Hz. I’m testing now at 120Hz and looks good so far.

Because the Studio Display is new, your best bet is to contact Apple Support for help.

Full-screen game (Civ VI) just started doing the same. Sometimes 1 turn, sometimes 5 turns, but then the right half of display would show static and then my connected MacBook Air reboots. Trouble-shooting I found that with Civ VI in windowed mode everything is fine.
