iPod Shuffle (4th gen): Can't sync music, missing in Finder
Hi! I found an untouched IPod Shuffle (4th gen) and I'm trying to download music onto it from my mac. At first it showed up in my finder sidebar under locations twice with "My Name's ipod Shuffle" and "iPod." When I clicked on the one with my name I could update or restore it and then there was another tab for syncing music. I tried making a youtube to mp3 conversion to test a song; I was able to put it in the "iPod" side bar and in apple music, but nothing was working with the one that was under my name. I ejected the iPod and the sidebar with my name stayed. I decided to restore it because I don't know what I'm doing. That restoration got rid of that second music tab and I could only see the update or restore options and nothing else would load. I tried restarting my laptop but finder wouldn't quit because of whatever was happening with that sidebar. I removed the sidebar with my name and was able to restart. However, I can't find the sidebar anymore. I went into finder settings and it didn't show up, even with the iPod connected. I don't know how to get it back or how to get the music to actually be on the shuffle. Please help!
