Cannot reset password or delete invalid Apple Account

Hello,

My friend attempted to create an iCloud account but unfortunately made a mistake during the process. She used her Gmail address to create the account but cannot remember the password that was set.

We tried to reset the password, but the system returns the following error message;“This Apple Account is not valid or not supported.”

Could you please assist us with deleting this account so that we can create it again correctly from the beginning?

For help with an invalid/not-active/not-supported account you need to contact Apple (the people on this forum are users like yourself).

To reach Apple Support for an account issue:

1. Click here --> https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=cups&PGF=PGF63005

2. Select: Disabled Apple ID

3. Select: ”The Apple ID is not active" alert

4. Select: “Continue”

5. Select a chat or telephone call option.
