Adjusting Line thickness in the "NEW" Pages.

I can't find the menu or drop-down to adjust the thickness of a line anymore. It used to be part of the sidebar and easily adjusted. I need a line between text, but not just an "underline." It needs to be more part of the graphic design of the page, not text based line. Using MacOS 26.3.1. Pages 15.1.1.

I resisted downloading the newest version of Pages because I knew it would be less full featured since they're apparently trying to monetize the Apple Suite of apps now. I didn't want to pay for the privilege of buying a Mac and then having to pay for the only Apple native word processor, but Pages is so much more than that as anyone here knows. Nonetheless I had to reformat my HD and now my old copy is gone and in its place this new and wholly messed up new one. Why can't all the option for what one can do with an object just be in the the sidebar when one selects the object, like a line, either in "Style" or "Arrange?" Is it hidden somewhere else now? Or only available behind a paywall? So messed up and so greedy Apple has become.

Do you mean this option:

Pretty sure it's still there.

The only difference I can see is that the Stroke section of the format inspector is collapsed by default (in my Pages 14.x, the Inspector has the Stroke options displayed, whereas in 15.x the Stroke options are collapsed, and you have to click the > Stroke label to display them. Otherwise everything else looks identical.

> ... I knew it would be less full featured

You are mistaken. There are no redacted, removed, or absent features. The only thing 15.x did was ADD the AI-focussed tools, but if you abhor/ignore/don't use those, everything that you could do in 14.x is possible in 15.x. The only adjustment you'll need to make is finding where some things have been moved too (e.g. the Stoke section of the Object Inspector being collapsed rather than shown by default).
