B. Clear Space:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary

We are terrible mind readers, so we'll need a few more details about what "lousy" might mean.

Depending on what version of the SE that you have though, the battery might be marginal or declining rapidly.

If the iPhone is not acting too lousy at the moment, tap Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging

Emphasize your Issue:

Whatever you are talking about, iPhone's don't act --they perform. So, how exactly is its performance not suiting your needs or expectations?

This last update 26.3.1 has made my 2020 11SE not perform well either. The main example I have is that the Clock app is not functioning well at all after the update. If I set an alarm, this new update has the text for that alarm in a very small box at top of screen when alarm goes off and the text is unable to be read. The text/reason for an alarm used to be displayed across the entire screen. Same problem for any timer that is set. This new update has made my clock app be pretty much useless. It is very disappointing. I already did a report to apple through the link, so we'll see. By the way, to the original poster, What problem are you specifically referring to?

My SE 2020 is running 26.3.1 without issue. As Bob suggests, you currently have us guessing and that never ends well.
