iPhone 17 scrolling micro stutters

I bought this iPhone 17 two months ago, and recently I’ve noticed some micro stutters while scrolling through third party apps, like Instagram, Facebook, Discord, etc.. But it also happens in settings sometimes, I’ve run diagnostics on my iPhone and no error in any component was shown, I think it’s something related to ProMotion, this issue surfaced on iOS 26.3 and later for me. Any clue how to fix it?

Did you already try a "forced" restart of your device, as per these instructions?

Put it on charge for at least half an hour, then, keeping it plugged in, use these gestures:

In rapid sequence, press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 10-20 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear, the one with the "slider" to turn the device off included).

If the issue persists, I suggest that you contact Apple support directly, using this link:--> Contact Apple for support and service , or make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

Well, I bought an iPhone 17 in December, it's updated to iOS 26.4, I use social apps like you, and I've never encountered any micro or macro shutters while scrolling.

As you say, I would also rule out a hardware problem, probably something related to the apps, but precisely for this reason (and for the fact that the device is brand new) I suggest going to an Apple Store or AASP where, after careful testing, they can help you with some troubleshooting steps to perform in complete safety, up to the extreme of completely resetting your 17, after adequate backup. I recommend that you make an appointment.

When done, please let me know what Apple technicians told you.

Regards and best of luck.

Force restarting was the first option for me, but I’ve already tried that several times and it hasn’t done anything to the issue and it still persists. And I’m not sure about going to an AASP since this phone is brand new. I’ve purchased it two months ago and it hasn’t been damaged or dropped or anything that couldn’t damage any hardware components and I’m certain that it’s an issue from the software a.k.a. iOS, and not something from the hardware.
