Issues with adding EPSON L3250 Series printer

Hi,

I am a new Apple user, just bought a MacBook Air M4 and I'm trying to add EPSON L3250 Series Printer to the laptop but having issues with it.

This printer works and is already connected via WiFi to other devices in my house.

First, I downloaded all the latest software from EPSON website and, to make sure, used the EPSON Software Updater app, and the software is really the latest.

Second, I went to system settings > add printer, and unfortunately, there is an error message saying: Software of other firm has been ran to enable to search the printer (translation from polish).

This error overrides the button "Add" therefore I'm unable to add the printer.

However, while downloading EPSON Software, the testing page has been printed, so there was a connection between the printer and MacBook but I'm just unable to add the printer and use it.

Can you help? Thanks a lot.

You should not have needed to download anything from Epson to use that Printer with your Mac.

see "Add a Wi-Fi or network printer" at Add a printer on Mac

What I would do is uninstall the Epson Software as per Epson's directions.

Uninstalling Product Software - Mac

Then Reset the Mac's Printing System and Re-Add the Printer using System Settings.
